My first major Flash Project, done in Flash 8.
About 30 hours of work spread out over a week.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
This is my final Project for one of my classes so all content is used for purely educational pourposes and copyrights to some of the images used belong to their respective owners.
why did you have the shaking text at some points and not at others? That was a bit strange to me. The use of copyrighted audio take away from the potential creativity of this piece. I did think the newspaper clipping scene was the strongest. however, the west nile clipping did not fit visually.
the whole flicker drives me mad a bit to fast and a distraction for me, i watched it with and whith out the music, i though it was final cut at 1st, i think its good if your new to flash and trying everything out, im still at the stage now.
weekest bit for me was the start with the pictures in squares
strongest bit i agree with above guy newspaper clippings.

flash animation, pencil, charcoal, photoshop colouring and vector art work aswell as some photos and sculptures to all in my new DA gallery come see!
In some places I had a lil bit of trouble with the Actionscript for the random shaking and for the last part I thought not shaking would give it a lil bit more strength.
As far as the audio goes... I have no musical talent whatsoever and I came up with the idea for my project while listening to that song so... that's why it ended up in there lol
Yeah I was wondering about the West Nile clipping, might change that.
Thanks for the great comment

Yeah I received mixed responses to the flickering, some really like it some don't, tried to come up with a good level, I want it to be present but not overwhelming.
Thanks for the comment!
